The story in this documentary is told from a British secular perspective, as if those prejudices, stupidity and atrocities all belonged to the past. But in many developing countries the medieval religious mindset remains present today.
I have a YouTube playlist I created like five years ago with maybe 50 different videos in it. I will post a few of my favorite documentaries on the subreddit. I may also make a list of them and private message it to you if you like. The intention is that is will become the bases of a list of documentaries that you could add to the side bar on that subreddit.
