Time Tangled Island Walkthrough Time Tangled Island is a great early quest in Poptropica where you want to untangle the future by traveling into the past and finding certain items that have been lost. You may adventure to the different eras in any order that you like.
Page Tools.A party has gone wrong, and now time isn't quite right. That's the premise here. From the area entrance, head right to meet Professor Peter P. Pendulum at the entrance to his lab, where he invites you inside. Enter the building, as suggested.Travel right, once you're inside, down a sloping ledge to meet Pendulum once more. He gives you the mission printout. Then you can talk to his assistant, just to the right of the machine's entry door, to learn how it functions.
It warps you 50 years into the future. So you will spend your time on this island traveling through time, making corrections in one period to allow progress in the other. To use the machine, you must first power it up and then enter its door. To power it up, head down the ramp to the chamber's lower level, where you can then head right to find and push a connector half so that it meets with the other half and produces a charge. This will cause a blue door to appear in the Future Machine, indicating you can enter it to warp to a different time period.Travel through the machine the first time and you will appear at the right side of an apparent wasteland. Travel left to meet a version of yourself that has aged 50 years. Explore the dialogue options until you receive the time device. The device you received is a tool you will use often, but by following a slightly different procedure than normal.
Tap or click the pocket watch icon in the screen's lower left side to open it, and then you will spot an arrow you can point toward one of eleven faces before pressing the button on the watch's left side to warp to that era and location. Each face allows you to visit a different scene on the island, and in each scene, you must return an item that you obtain from a different scene. This means a lot of fetching, which you can do in any order that suits you. For simplicity's sake, this walkthrough breaks things down by era year. When you have completed tasks available in a particular period/location, a green light will appear behind that portion of the watch's dial to mark your success, until everything is green and you can head back to the lab.328 BC (Greece) Talk to the guards at the building just to the right, the treasury. You learn the golden vase was stolen. If you find and return the vase, you will be permitted to talk to the Oracle.Head right and up the slope, then jump from there back toward the left to arrive at the base of a series of stone steps.
If you enter the building, you will meet with the Oracle, but she won't tell you anything until you return the missing vase to the treasury. She gives you a hint about where to find it:'I see our golden vase inside a sealed cave that must be blown open. I see a barrel of explosive powder near a great stone wall.' You can find the vase in 831 AD, inside a cave, but first you will need the gunpowder from 1593 AD to gain entry to the cave. Once you have the vase, return it to the right of the two guards who greet you outside the treasury at the entrance to Greece. Then you can climb the hill and talk to the Oracle again to receive a new prophecy:'I see enormous temples. I see you wearing a feathered mask.
I see a man wearing glass circles over his eyes.' You have fixed time in this era, once you receive that prophecy.
Head back outside, and drop down to the left so you're a short distance to the right of the treasury. Hop up using a vase, onto a statue. Ascend along the right side of the building, by jumping from the statue's head to the roof. There, you will find the phonograph, which you will need in 1877 AD.
831 AD (Norway) When you appear here, you will see an armored soldier standing to your right. If you talk to him, you will find that he is missing an amulet, without which he and his men do not feel safe sailing. You can find the amulet in 1593 AD, at the Great Wall of China.Give the man the amulet and the time period is considered repaired. You can also push to the right past the soldier to find two soldiers resting at the base of a cliff. Hop up along the ledges above them to find a cave entrance.
If you already visited China and got the gunpowder, you can investigate the cave entrance to blast it apart and reveal an opening.Enter the opening and move quickly. The torch you bring with you lasts only a brief time, so run down the slope to your right and jump across the gap. Jump straight up once you land on the other side of the gap, then up and slightly to the right.
Run along that slope and drop down a series of ledges, holding slightly to the right as you make your rapid descent. There is a wide pool of water at the base, and ledges are floating in it. If you fall into the water, your torch is extinguished, so leap across the series of floating ledges to reach an area to their far left. There, you will obtain the golden vase, which you should take to the guards in front of the temple treasury in Greece, circa 328 BC.Exit the cave and equip the glider, if you have it (you can find the glider in Italy in 1516 AD). With the glider equipped, stand near the right edge of the platform where you found the cave entrance.
Take a flying leap out and glade to the right to land on a high platform, where you can grab the Viking Suit. It is an outfit you can equip, if you like.1387 AD (Mali Empire) You appear at the base of a series of buildings, which you can ascend with careful jumps. Watch out for the various cobra snakes inconveniently positioned along the rooftops.
Your destination is the highest roof near the top left side of the buildings, where you can meet with a trader. He has lost his salt rocks, which you can find on the roof of a building in 1776 AD (a place you will want to visit after you finish your time here, anyway).
If you hand them over to him, you will repair the time period.Head right from the trader and you can take a flying leap to the right to soar over the top of a pillar. Then you should drop down to the lower level to find the Timbuktu Inn. Enter the building to find the document merchant on the higher level. If you can piece together his painting, he will reward you.The mini-game requires you to move pieces of a document as if they are scraps of a puzzle. The puzzle is 3x6 pieces in size, and you don't have to rotate anything, so it's reasonably easy to solve in the space provided.
Once you do, you will receive the Declaration of Independence as your reward. It is useful in 1776 AD.1516 AD (Italy) You appear outside Clos Luce Mansion. Head to the far left side of the area to find some boulders and a sign pointing upward to Leo's workshop. Hop up the bounders and other rocks to reach the top of the waterfall. Then head right along the grassy ledge. Another sign points toward the workshop to the upper left, but there are points of interest to the right.Hop up onto the boulder and start along planking to the right.
Leap across a gap and the man you find there points to a strange item hanging from beneath the place where you are standing. You can't get at it yet, but you can jump to a small platform hanging from rope just above you. Then climb up the top of the series of platforms and hop onto another wooden plank. You can ride it down a ways and now a plank will have moved out toward the right, near the center of the gap you leaped across a moment ago. Hop out onto that plank, and from there you can make a small hop again to grab the peace medal, which you need in 1805 AD. If you're having trouble making the jump, aim for the wheel just to the right of it and double click. That should allow you to jump at the right angle to automatically grab the prize. Now return to the planks you moved on the pulley system yet again.
The one that is currently in position along the upper left side of the approximate triangle is your destination. Stand on it, then take a long leap left (aim where you want to land and double-click) to reach the highest wooden platform. Walk left along it to reach the workshop, which you should enter.Hop along the statues to the left and ascend to the higher level, where you can walk right to meet the master of the workshop. Hand over the notebook, if you have it.
You can find it in France in 1882 AD. In exchange for the notebook with his plans, Leo will hand over the glider, which you can use in Norway in 831 AD to get the optional Viking Suit.1519 AD (Aztec Empire) When you appear in this area, you will find it is quite wide. There are pyramid-shaped temples to your right, and a thumping drum beat in the background. Your first order of business should be to run to the area's far right side, ignoring most of the pyramids (you will come back this way in a moment).
As you proceed, you need to leap to avoid warriors who don't welcome your presence. When you get to the far right pyramid, leap up it to find a man standing near the top, who will give you the warrior headdress item. With that order of business out of the way, it's time to talk to a few people you ignored. Access the newly acquired mask from your inventory and equip it so the guards don't harass you, then head left one pyramid and climb the steps to find two people at the top. Talk to the one on the left, who is crying.
He is a miserable king, because a piece of the sun stone is missing. He would like you to find and return the missing piece.
Descend to the base of that pyramid and talk to the warrior standing near the steps to receive the goggles. Now you have done everything necessary in this area except return the sun stone, which you will find in 1877 AD, on the roof of Edison's workshop. When you come back to this location and return that item, you will repair the time period.1593 AD (China) Travel right from where you first appear to the far right side of the area, where you will find a barrel sitting on some steps. Check it to obtain the gunpowder. To the left from the pedestal where you found that barrel, you can hop up wooden scaffolding to ascend to a wall above the barrel's location. There, meet with the man and talk to him to play a memory game, where you must keep straight the location of a particular tile while it shuffles around with other tiles.
If you win, you will receive the amulet.Head left from where you met that fellow and leap along some scaffolding. Some of it will tip when you step on it, but you can run along it and leap left and even climb on some rope. Then jump to the wall to the left of there and head left to meet with a soldier who has lost his stone bowl. You can find that in 1805 AD, at the top of a tree to the right of a tent.
Hand over the bowl to the soldier on the wall to repair the time period.1776 AD (New England) Start right through the area and watch out for porcupines. If you run into one, it'll knock you back a bit. Jump over the first one you see and keep moving to meet Benjamin Franklin, who is waiting on Thomas Jefferson to finish writing something.Enter the building and meet John Adams, who reveals his comrade has lost the Declaration of Independence.
If you've been to 1387 AD, you very likely have the document in your possession already. Jump onto the room's second level and find Thomas Jefferson along the right side. Hand over the Declaration of Independence. Doing so repairs the time period. While you are in the area, exit the building from where you met Jefferson. Jump upward, using the window sills to scale the building and reach the roof. Check the chimney there to find the salt rocks, which you can find a use for in 1387 AD.
A trader on the roof near the upper left portion of that period's area is looking for them.1805 AD (American Northwest) Meriwether Lewis is standing just to your right as you enter this time period. He is exploring but has lost his peace medal. To his right, William Clark tells a similar story. The two men don't dare continue their expedition without the precious medal. There is a tree just to the right of the tent. Climb it by ascending the branches, and at the top you will find a beaver that pops out and is wearing a stone bowl on its head, which you can click to receive as an item. Do so, and then you're done with the area until you can return with the medal.
As for the bowl, you should take it to China in 1593 AD.The peace medal can be found in 1516 AD, dangling from a high bit of plank. When you bring it here and hand it to Lewis, the time period is repaired.1877 AD (Edison's Workshop) Travel left, past a large tree, to find yourself near Edison's workshop. Continue left past there to find a 'motor wagon' that apparently was shipped from Germany. Click on the motor along its left side, behind the top of the contraption's left wheel, to make the vehicle drive to the right and come to a stop under the branches of the tree you saw a moment ago. Now hop up onto the wagon's seat, and use that height to climb up the tree by way of its branches.
Then hop over onto the building's roof and proceed left to find the piece of stone resting at the top of a chimney. A tribe's king is looking for the stone in 1519 AD.Descend to the building's lowest level and enter the front door. Hop up onto the light fixture hanging from the ceiling on the right side of the first floor, and from there jump up to the next floor. Then hop across the gap to the left to meet with Edison. Hand over the phonograph he is missing, if you have it. You can obtain it in 1516 AD.
Giving Edison the phonograph repairs the time period.1882 AD (France) Work on the Statue of Liberty has been halted, a gentleman just to the right of this period's entrance informs you. Enter the building marked 'Gaget, Gauthier et Cie' and check to the right to meet the famous sculptor, Bartholdi. He is looking for his study model so he can finish the Statue of Liberty. Hand over the Statuette of Liberty, which you can find resting on a high ledge in 1953 AD, if you haven't already. Handing over the statuette will repair the time period. Now exit the building. Head to the far right side of the main area and hop onto a barrel, then from there leap onto the 'Bois d'oeuvre' building.
“Once in, it will significantly reduce the loading times for players getting into the game and that’s a big queue for us since we want to let you play a match of Arena Commander or jump to a match of Star Marine with a minimum amount of loading.”Better still, the same video offered hints as to the long-term application of that streaming system. Star citizen map.
Zumbi blocks 3d download youtube. Next, climb up the scaffolding to the left. At the top, head left and then take a flying leap to the left. You want to veer left far enough to land on a high ledge on the building in that direction. If you land on the highest of the available ledges, drop down one to the next ledge. Otherwise, land on the lower of the two ledges directly. Either way, you should grab the notebook. It may take a few attempts.
The notebook you will want to take with you to 1516 AD, to hand over to the great inventor in his workshop atop the hill.1953 AD (Mount Everest) Travel down some snowy ledges with ramps between them, to reach the right side of the area. Hop to the upper left and start up another series of ledges. There is a weak gap between these, where the snow will fall out from beneath you if you step on it. However, that at least reveals the pitfall so you can come back and leap across it.Continue ascending to reach the peak of that slope. Then jump up some more snow-covered ledges directly overhead. From there, jump to the upper right and trot along that ledge.
You'll come to a gap, which you must hop across. Otherwise, your momentum carries you into a pit and you have to climb again. On the opposite side of that pit, you'll find another ramp and then the base of a rope. Hop up and climb the rope to find a mountain climber who informs you that someone named Edmund has lost his climbing goggles. He is waiting just to the right, and his full name is Edmund Hillary. Tell him you have his goggles and you will repair the time period.
You're not done yet at this location, however.Follow the climbers to the right, up some ledges. Climb a rope after that, to reach a new series of treacherous ledges. Leap up them as icicles fall from above, and when you reach the top, you will be able to grab the Statuette of Liberty.
It is an item that is useful in 1882 AD, in the building you first see when entering that period.Lab Once you repair each of the broken time periods (and have grabbed the Viking Suit in 831 AD, if that is of interest), you can access your time travel watch again and select 'Lab' as your destination. If any of the faces in the watch haven't developed a faint green background, you still have work to do in the corresponding period. When you appear in the lab area, you're outside. Head right and enter the building, then power up the machine as you did the first time you put it to use. Enter the Future Machine and when you pass through to the other side, head to the right. Swim through a pool of water, and make your way to a translucent blue tube along the right side of the area.
Let it suck you up to the next level, then head left and wait for the monorail to appear. Step onto it and then ride it left toward a second monorail. You want to be on the roof, and leap up so that air comes out of the monorail and lets you float up to land on the higher of the two vehicles. Then let it carry you left and ride up to another ledge.Ascend to the left and you should reach a high, grassy ledge with another of the blue tubes.
Inside, a robot heads back and forth on the lower level. On the upper level, you can hop across a wide gap and travel to the right to meet the older version of yourself, this time in happier circumstances. Talk to him to receive the Time Tangled Medallion and 150 Credits', your reward for clearing this lengthy stage.
